The Highest Fall is when happiness and despair collide creating a haze of emotion and desire for life's clarity. Instrumentals made for the EP by Lachy Hamill combine original and recorded samples, slowed break beats and other sounds which are often connected with the classic 90's Trip Hop genre. Original acoustic guitar recordings and piano compositions by Joel and Lachy infused with 808 bass lines and reverberating energy builds a massive abstract soundscape for the listener. Lyrics and their delivery by Joel Imber are true to his emotive singing style and connection to each song.
